Solution Architect

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you’ll work across product, engineering, and customer teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You’ll play a key part in aligning business needs with technical strategy, ensuring every implementation is thoughtful, maintainable, and value-driven.

This is a full-time position with flexible remote options.

Key responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

• Design and document scalable, secure architecture for web platforms and APIs

• Translate customer needs into technical solutions that align with business goals

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure feasibility and performance

• Participate in customer-facing solution workshops and discovery sessions

• Develop architecture diagrams, integration strategies, and technical documentation

• Guide implementation and review technical decisions throughout the delivery lifecycle

• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy requirements

• Identify and mitigate architectural risks and technical debt

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed

• 5+ years in software architecture, technical consulting, or solutions engineering

• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Proficiency in designing APIs, integrations, and distributed systems

• Solid development experience (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar)

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Experience translating complex technical ideas into actionable plans

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and system observability

Preferred qualifications

These would be a plus

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification

• Experience in client-facing pre-sales or implementation roles

• Familiarity with event-driven, serverless, or microservice-based architecture

• Knowledge of enterprise SaaS platforms and compliance standards

• Background in performance optimization and infrastructure scaling

• Experience with authentication, authorization, and security frameworks
