Context
Yellow & Co. is a concept store built entirely around banana-based products — from organic snacks and smoothies to sustainable banana fiber accessories and natural skincare. The founders needed a brand that felt vibrant, cheeky, and fresh, while also reflecting quality and eco-consciousness.
Our approach
We saw this as a chance to create a playful but polished identity that didn’t fall into clichés. The challenge was to balance humor and warmth with clarity and consistency — to build a brand that could scale beyond novelty.
We began with naming, landing on Yellow & Co., a flexible name that centers the core product while leaving room to grow. From there, we developed a brand world built around optimism, simplicity, and the surprising versatility of bananas.
Visual identity
We designed a wordmark with round, soft letterforms and subtle irregularities that feel organic and approachable. The yellow used is not the typical banana hue — it’s slightly muted, paired with cream and leaf-green tones to hint at nature and craft.
Illustration and pattern work played a central role — hand-drawn banana icons, abstract fruit textures, and bold block typography were combined to create a recognizable and energetic system.
Packaging and touchpoints
We extended the brand across product packaging, signage, merch, and in-store displays. Each label features playful copy, clear type hierarchy, and a system of stickers and stamps to differentiate product lines (snacks, skincare, lifestyle).
We also created brand assets for social media, including motion graphics and story templates, to help the team build awareness and engagement pre-launch.
Outcome
The store opened to enthusiastic reception, praised for its originality and coherence. The branding created instant shelf appeal and a clear personality that customers connected with — fun, clean, and full of character.
